Booking Updates
- ✓ Customers can now search for upcoming active bookings using a booking ID or Australian mobile number.
- ✓ Customers can now self-cancel their upcoming appointments.
- ✓ Customer cancellations release the reserved booking slot so it becomes available again.
- ✓ Customer self-cancellations do not automatically send a cancellation SMS.
- ✓ Booking-lock protection remains active to help prevent overlapping and duplicate bookings.
- ✓ Older supported booking codes can continue to be used when searching for existing bookings.
SMS Updates
- ✓ Customer booking confirmation SMS is now a manual opt-in option.
- ✓ The confirmation SMS checkbox is unchecked by default.
- ✓ A confirmation SMS is sent only when the customer explicitly selects the option.
- ✓ Staff cancellation SMS remains optional and is sent only when staff explicitly select the checkbox.
- ✓ SMS controls display as unavailable when the SMS credit balance reaches zero.
- ✓ Bookings and cancellations can still proceed when SMS credits are unavailable.
- ✓ SMS controls automatically become available again after credits are added.
Data Tracking & Reporting
- ✓ Booking records now track whether the customer requested an SMS confirmation.
- ✓ The admin Booking table now shows whether SMS confirmation was selected, sent, skipped or unavailable.
- ✓ SMS usage can be tracked against individual booking actions for improved reporting.
